Broken Kanwrite

I ordered my first Kanwrite from FPR and it arrived in an envelope broken into two pieces! You can see from the picture that it broke just below the cap threads. I glued the pieces with JB weld clear epoxy and let the pen set for 3 days. Does anyone know if this will be strong enough. Failure will be a mess!

Won't FPR just replace the pen?

I emailed FPR immediately that I was going to return the pen and they replied the same day to keep the pen and they are sending me a new one. It just seems like such a waste to throw it away.

My money is on it showing up in another envelope.

What happened when you tried to fill and write with it after gluing it?

Can it now be called Kant-write? Sorry but this accident, although very frustrating for you, called for a bit of humour :-)
Maybe FPR should upgrade the way they ship things across the USA?

So the pen is holding water very well. I am going to take it with me all week to work and see if it leaks. If it does not then I will try ink. Fred I am guessing you are correct. I will know this week.
