    I did some other tests:

This is one Midori with various nibs
    Sorry for the crappy scan...
    Baystate.jpg

Now on Bright HP print paper, you have a different result...

    Baystate 2.jpeg

I just drew some lines alternatively one Baystate the other Sapphire...

I have been using Scribe Indigo for months now. It is a great blue. Before that, I filled every pen with Parker Penman Sapphire (have two bottles left), Asa Gao, or Diamine Sapphire Blue.

I like nearly all of the Private Reserve blues: DC Supershow, Electric DC, American, and Lake Placid. I don't use Noodlers inks that bind themselves to paper, and his ordinary blues are a bit ugly.

    Full hazmat conditions observed.

Diamine Sapphire is more purple and less concentrated than Noodler's Baystate Blue. I don't have any Pelikan Edelstein Sapphire Blue only Topaz Blue.

Thanks for the comparison, Chrissy. The Diamine Sapphire Blue looks similar to Edelstein Sapphire.
That's worth knowing Bob, thanks. I quite like purplish blue inks and already have a few that are similar so I won't need to have Pelikan Edelstein Sapphire on my possibles list. I think Aurora Blue fits into those that are purplish blue too. I enjoyed reviewing that ink.
