Maybe take it as a sign you should get the Visconti after all?

La Couronne du Comte didn't have an issue shipping Montblanc outside Europe last time I had the funds. (There were other issues, but that's another story.) I've also had good dealings with Fontoplumo in that neck of the woods.

The discrepancy is strange. Re discounts, La Couronne is doing 20% off everything at the moment, ending today.

I would not advise getting something else if your heart is set on an MB. There has to be a work around from a different source.

This is due to them opening a store in Boston. As they own stores in different distribution networks the US would need to be fulfilled from the US store and Europe from their original store.
