Congrats! This is just a gorgeous pen--a wondrous thought made manifest by Nakaya! I suspect the only ink suitable for this pen is Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo

Sounds like a good combo.

I actually bought a bottle... And while it is beautiful ink, it really doesn't fit the pen at all. The show through color on this pen is very decidedly green, an aqua/turqouise green, but still green. The blue just doesn't gel. I have a brand new bottle of Bamboo Forest waiting as well and bet that one is spot on.

BEYOOTIFUL!

One way to get more of the under layer color to show through is to use your pen every day! Or, you know, often.

I refill the cartridges with my favorite inks. I like that the little ball in the cartridge prevents the ink was sticking in the butt end. I have not had any flow issues using the cartridges.
