Cosmo Air Light Discontinued

I just received word last night from Nippon Paper Industries that Cosmo Air Light is being discontinued. There is some remaining stock but there will be no further production. We still have a good amount of CAL notebooks and will try to secure more of the paper so we can produce at least one more run of notebooks before it is gone for good.

I'm afraid I've never had a chance to try it out but understood from a couple of sources that it was mentioned as one of a number of potential replacements for Tomoe River when that was discontinued. Reviewers seem to like it's performance. It seems like a shame to lose it.

The CAL paper is in the Yamamoto paper sampler. It's one of the papers I liked. However, I already have a pile of unused Tomoe River notebooks.

That is sad. It was a nice alternative. And I assume that means that Cosmo Air Snow is also going away.
