New!!! M605 black tortoise

After all the flak Pelikan's been getting it is amazing to see such a fascinating new pen coming out. I adored the Red Tortoiseshell, and my order is already in for this one. It is, at the same time, true to Pelikan's traditional tortoise looks (though the jury is out on the opacity/ink window question) and quite refreshingly new in its colours. And m60x series is just the right size for me.

It feels a bit like what the Stresemann should always have been :-)

The pen should be available end of May / beginning of June.

it looks friggin beautiful. might eventually find one on the secondary market, this one's out of my league unfortch.

Looks photoshopped to me, will wait for actual reviews and pictures by purchasers.

They do seem to have a pattern of editing these promotional images...they always look a bit more flat in people's in-hand photos. Another reason to go for the real tortoise 400s of the '50s.
