That is a radiotelescopic image of the massive black hole at the center of our galaxy.

    The face of god?

God is a spirit according to the Bible. Not saying that’s a fact, but I tend to think our obcession with physicality keeps us from being more aware of the unseen. YMMV of course 🤫

Not much in the bible about black holes, quasars, and that sort of thing. Let alone quantum mechanics. (There is Ezekiel 1:16.)

That black hole is, in strict terms, as yet unseen. By the human eye, at least. The image is a composite of data from a great many radiotelescopes, just released.

That’s because it conflicts with the narrative.

Not sure what you posted is totally or partially true, but I am convinced of this, it is what you want to believe.

Chuck, it is simply one of a multitude of pieces of evidence to sort through.

    -edit-

Here you go Chuck. While in a hurry to ”debunk” claims about what precisely was or was not “exposed”, the AP (if that meets your criteria) also confirms the occurrence.

    https://apnews.com/article/fact-chec...o-965766299271

However, unedited versions of the image show that the performer was wearing opaque nude tights that covered their genitals, a fact that Yetman confirmed to the AP in a phone interview Monday.
The picture I posted is the unedited version. Do you find that acceptable in an elementary school?

How do we know it wasn't staged or that it is you dressed as an ass clown?

The only sources were right wing or evangelical.

Perhaps it came from Liberty University, yeah, the same that gave the "My Pillow" guy an honorary doctorate.

Skepticism is good, Chuck. You should apply it more broadly.

I will assume that I was correct and that you cannot substantiate your posts.

A pattern I notice is that you post something and then waste all of our time proving it is valid. You did this with Trump and Covid. You were proven wrong in both cases. Then you pretend to be the hall monitor, which is so obviously hypocritical.

It is why I generally tend to trust, Ted.

You don't watch or read the things that do substantiate my posts Chuck. You are impervious to data or evidence that does not align with your existing opinion. Everyone has confirmation bias - including you. The solution is to understand the competing views so well that you could argue for them (whether or not you agree). You have to metaphorically look through Galileo's telescope and not rely on your dogma.

I argue a point of view alternative to yours not to troll, but to allow you to advocate the merit of your position or to point out the rational flaws in what I advocate. Sadly, you are unwilling or incapable of that, and often resort to rhetoric, ad hominem, and emoticons. I find this curious, since you are aware of that being an admittance of "running out of ammunition", as you yourself posted.

I don’t come here to substantiate your posts, @dneal! More often I am reduced to figuring out if your telling the truth or lying.

Chuck, no one has asked or requires you to substantiate anything. It's an internet forum. It's the reader's responsibility to investigate and evaluate, or not.

It is your responsibility to investigate and only post information that is true. No one wants to take to time to prove you’re not lying.

In the Jesus Teachings thread, who verified that the Bible was true?

M: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.
    A: No it isn't.
M: Yes it is! It's not just contradiction.
A: Look, if I argue with you, I must take up a contrary position.
