Just for you TSherbs and Chuck, something you'll find inciteful but made me laugh. Apologies to Mother Goose and Andrew Dice Clay.

    Hickory, dickory, dock,
    A queen was flashing his cock;
    The libs cried "Oh Noes!
    It's covered with hose!"
But the kids still experienced a shock.

You were acting as a journalist whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, which bears responsibility to report only what’s true or provide with some reference that it may or may not be true. Otherwise you are misleading either out of ignorance or intent. Since there are no standards that FB or this forum demands, you are free to post whatever you choose and only have to answer to your own conscience. What you cannot do is suggest that your ignorance or lying is my responsibility.

I’d say that another member pointed out you folly and that the location not a school, it a library. Now you’re trying to recover by saying the location is unimportant. Well, it is important and with your post we don’t know that it wasn’t edited to suggest children were present.

While I am not interested is drag, some are. I personally am more concerned about the state of our democracy. Drag people are not the reason for the problems this nation is facing because of political people .

And I am more concerned that people are not honest but feel smug that they are better than others.

Chuck, I'm not a journalist, never claimed to be one, and never acted as one. This is an internet forum, not a news publication.

You said: "I am unable to find a reputable source to confirm.", so I did you a favor and found you a reputable source.

It seems that the incident happened is disconcerting to your (and TSherb's) narrative, so the only way to escape the dissonance is to deflect with some non-issue of where specifically it occurred. Curiously, if it were in a Church or at a Boy Scout camp, and the man dressed differently; your opinion(s) would be likely be different.

It seems to me that these are normal topics for schoolchildren. I believe that we should bring up such topics with children and dispel the myths so that there are no huge and bad consequences later. For example, CBD oil can help to cope with problems, but there are also many myths around it. Therefore, I am for the fact that children need to be told the truth.

From 2006 to 2007 I was an honest to goodness registered Press Journalist-Photographer. Still got my Press Pass (just found it cleaning out a drawer, thought I had thrown it out), should buy myself a Trilby so I can pose at parties! My mentor was the former editor of one of the major UK newspapers.

I'd forgotten about that. Onset of old-timer's disease I reckon. Hah!

Or the link to the news article about Mayor Adams of NYC endorsing drag queens in elementary schools?
Neither had any embellishment or commentary.
If you're truly searching for "conspiracy" you might question why the same sentiment shows up among government officials in different states.

Only if "lazily" means "easily" and "stoking the fire" means simply repeating and exposing the actual comments.

So, I looked it up. She was responding to the many things being introduced that divide people. Her comments were not to be taken serious. That said, Republicans pounced in it, just like you.

That said, I don’t want drag queen entertainment on a captive audience anymore than I want to see Donald Trump grabbing pussy. Nor a female faking one as with Elaine or When Harry Met Sally.

First, there is no evidence that the Michigan AG has ever had a sense of humor.
Second, "I was just joking" is a near Pavlovian response to being caught in a lie, or in deeply offensive behavior.
Third, I am not a Republican.
Fourth, thank you for "I don’t want drag queen entertainment on a captive audience."

Your response was exactly as I did expect. It was obvious she was joking and you’re so far up Trumps rear you’ve not seen daylight since 2015.

So, the big mystery is, how do some of you try to take a moral stand against your perceived liberal sins and support Trump??

Is there nothing coming for your conscience that says otherwise?

You come on here so infrequently that I feel my response to be somewhat of a waste in time although, I find it entertaining.
