    a fan, cup/lid, utility knife, 9V battery, piece of tape.

    Wow! That's one well loved Safari!

    Even your nifty gizmo would be too slow for me. I have a small pancake compressor in the shop, with a long piece of tubing on the nose of the air gun that reaches down into any barrel or cap.

    heh. it's a knockoff, nicknamed Pripyat pen (or Nudie Banana.) I do not believe this setup is much faster than regular air drying, I'll run a test or two to check. The fan is rated for 12V so it's likely running slower on 9V.

    Reminds me of the smoke generator I made to test for vacuum leaks in my car.

    Smoke generator... Doing that now with our orange Soul. It would have to be the expensive parts that involve dropping the fuel tank.
