SOLD: Two Waterman's Blue Streak fountain pens. What is unusual about these pens is that they are traditional lever-fillers, but in pens Waterman had originally marketed with Ink-Vue Type 2 filler mechanisms. In other words, they would've had a hidden bulb compressed by a hinged lever, filling the barrel (rather than a sac) that had an ink view window. But look closer.
See Jim Mamoulides's webpage about these pens, and note the budget model with the full length lever and colors available.
SOLD - The Pearl Grey
The Jet Black is a Canada pen with matching Canada Ideal 14k semiflex nib. The cap and barrel ends are stepped, but like the cap found on the Type 2 Ink-Vue, it has a gold button in the center. The cap has scratches near the top and has a round 3mm gouge on one side. The barrel has fine scratches under the cap lip. Ideal globe clip. A member has brought me up to date on this pen, which turns out to be one of the Blue Streak versions the Canadians were producing as they morphed from Ink-Vue Type 2 mechanisms through to lever-fillers, on the way to eventually creating a Blue Streak celluloid pen with the top-mounted clip, rivet and lever that the Commando used. Thank you, Bob!
Price reduced$75$45 including shipping to any USPS address. More elsewhere. First private message that reads "I'll take the black Blue Streak" with email address and delivery address holds the pen pending prompt payment of Square invoice emailed to you. AppleCash or checks accepted. N.B. The pen is on offer locally, too. Enquiries welcome but do not hold the pen.
