    Default Who does do re-tipping?

I have been searching for re-tipping service on my own for a little bit, and I thought I'd ask the question here... maybe someone knows someone.

The first person who shows up is Greg Minuskin. I actually sent my pen to him, but somehow I must have ticked him off and he refused to work on it. At first, I thought I did something inadvertently, but after reading some discussions in here, it is not just me. Anyway, so unfortunate for me...

The second is fpnibs.com but it appears that they stopped service temporarily due to too many customers in queue.

I also found goldnibs.com, but the website is gone and the Facebook page is inactive for more than 3 years. I am assuming they are gone.

I thought Rick from thesouthernscribe.com did do re-tipping (at least based on his website) but in his email, he said he didn't offer that service (btw, very nice gentleman)

Is there anyone who is active and does re-tipping?

    Thanks...

Don't fret, it was definitely not you.

nibs.com did retipping. Not sure if they still do.

Their repair form is closed. I am guessing after John Mottishaw retired (and handed the business over) they are not doing anything beyond grinds.

Brad Torelli is back doing retipping again after a surgery; he uses a better technique than Minuskin. Wait time would but considerably longer though.

I figured that was the case, but optimism took over.

Hmm, contrary to what seems to be a lot of folk's opinion, I’ve had nothing but excellent service from mr Minuskin.
His work in my experience is flawless, and his turnaround is relatively very quick.

His second hand pens were nothing to get excited about, and his frequent use of the word Wet Noodle was likely ill considered…..but his retipping is second to none.

I’m not sure what I’ve done differently to anyone else, but 'our' comms have been civil polite and timely, and I can recommend his work without hesitation.
