I really like BSER a lot. I've been intrigued by BSAR, but a lot of the online writing samples and swabs that I've seen make it look too pink for my tastes. Jetpens even lists it in the "pink" category. But then I started thinking that a mixture of the two might look pretty cool. Maybe equals amounts of the two, or maybe some other proportions. I'm wondering if anyone has tried it, and if they'd be willing to post a picture of a writing sample or drawing or something, and the ratio they used.

    Thanks!

Nobody? Anybody? Dang. I guess I'll have to try it myself. I will let you know what I come up with.

Sadly I've never had samples of both inks at the same time. In fact I don't remember if I ever tried a sample of BSIER. I'm also not sure what colour BSIAR comes out as at the moment. Is it currently the version that looks fairly purplish? I would bet that a mixture could be quite attractive. Looking forward to seeing your results.

Yes, what I have has a slight purple tinge.
