I think we do a good job. If you’re only here every two weeks, that your choice, but your opinion doesn’t carry much weight.

M: I came here for a good argument.
A: No you didn't; no, you came here for an argument.
M: An argument isn't just contradiction.
    A: It can be.
M: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.
    A: No it isn't.
M: Yes it is! It's not just contradiction.
A: Look, if I argue with you, I must take up a contrary position.
M: Yes, but that's not just saying 'No it isn't.'

    Vocalizing? No doubt.

    Discussing? No so much anymore.

    For example,
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. “

Then you wanted to interpret as everyone who wants a gun, regardless, is enabled by the constitution as a right.

That nails it. Especially with the double meaning of "mad."

    Jim Norton said this recently:

"It's not about what we're arguing about. We love to argue and we love to be right. It's not about the issue. The issue is the excuse to attack each other, and we're always going to love attacking each other, and so no matter what the issues are, we are still the same. We can blame Trump, we can blame Biden, it doesn't matter; we're the same."

There are topics for which to be correct is essential. And, it’s worth a strong effort and a suitable amount of rigor to be properly informed and communicate accordingly.

What is ironic is someone who decides to show up only to complain regarding others engaged in important considerations. Now that it a waste of time.

While we may never sway, arguing is a way to make for certain we personally are thinking well.

Many mistake their truth for the truth.

The truth may never be discerned, but more assuredly when one is unable to question their truth.

Me, but I’m sure there’s some variation from somebody else (or several somebodies) over the ages that I’m not aware of. The “there are no original thoughts” theory…

Please, tell me a truth. Aside from in pure mathematics or logical verities, I don't consider many statements 100% true.

My best attempt would be objective truth exists.

Is that statement true? If so, can you give an example (not circular logic back to itself nor pure mathematics/logic)?
