Ooh, a drive-by posting.
Farmboy is rarely seen around these parts. It's a joke. Kind of obvious I'd have thought. (note, the smiley is something of a clue)

Since I hadn't posted it before, I apologize if I offended anyone in any way by making jokes using a name derived from "Dalhi Lama". I didn't intend any harm. I don't think of names as special; I may think of what a name represents as special. If requested, EoC or anyone potentially offended, I'll stop joking with this name.

M: I came here for a good argument.
A: No you didn't; no, you came here for an argument.
M: An argument isn't just contradiction.
A: It can be.
M: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.
A: No it isn't.
M: Yes it is! It's not just contradiction.
A: Look, if I argue with you, I must take up a contrary position.
M: Yes, but that's not just saying 'No it isn't.'

I'm not going to insist on anyone doing anything.
BTW, have stolen the Dostoevsky quote for my signature - really digging it.

There was a time when I was into Dostoyevsky. I can't remember encountering this quote in its original context. I have just spent 30 minutes looking around, and I still can't find it (I am not the slickest google-acolyte). I am always a bit leary of quotes out of context by writers of fiction because it may have been said in some story by an "idiot" (pun intended for Fyodor) or "ridiculous dreamer" or "underground man" or crazed psychokiller or some other literary fool, and the author means the opposite.
I'd love to find out where this quote is from. It is ALL OVER the internet, but in every case I looked at, it has no original source atribution.

Just read “suckerburg leviathan” on another thread. I see a trend….😂

So that little mama squirrel has been back a few times, mainly to point out to my wife that she hasn't put out the bird feeders yet. Today on my way out to drink coffee and look at the internet on my iPad, I got a quick snap.

‘It was angry, vicious’: spate of squirrel attacks leave NYC neighborhood in fear
At least three people in Rego Park, in Queens, have been jumped upon and bitten by a possibly deranged squirrel.
Oliver Milman
New York City is not known for hair-raising animal experiences – save for the odd pizza-loving rat – but one city neighborhood is being subjected to an unwelcome slice of the wild by being terrorized by a highly aggressive squirrel.
At least three people in Rego Park, in the borough of Queens, have been jumped upon and bitten by the possibly deranged squirrel in recent weeks. The tree-based rodent’s reign of terror has made some people in the area afraid to go outside without being armed with pepper spray or other anti-squirrel weaponry.
“A few people are quite scared,” Micheline Frederick, a local resident, told Guardian US. Frederick was herself targeted by the squirrel in a bloody attack on 21 December, when she was holding her front door open for furniture movers.

Of course not. Unlike Arthur and the boys, I'm a gun owner. The furry creatures know their place, so we live in harmony. Maybe now that the SC overturned NYC's gun law, they'll get their squirrels under control too.
