Sailor Grenade performs well for me, too. I would agree that it is similar to an Iroshizuku ink, although the red in it makes it an effort to rinse completely out of a feed.

I tried a sample of PR Vampire Red about a year ago. In my ink journal I actually drew a line through the entry and noted "gloppy". I wish I knew precisely what I meant by that. I really like the color. It's similar to Red Chalk, but darker. In my ink journal I'm clearly warning my future self, but perhaps I'll try another sample (to find out what spooked me). Has anyone else out there tried the PR Vampire Red?
I just tested them both using the same pen as a dipper.
JH Terre de Feu has distinct burgundy undertones. It even looks pinkish in the bottle.
MB Red Chalk has distinct orange undertones. So, nothing alike, really.
I will be loading my Haolilai Goldpen with Red Chalk, a winning combination I discovered by accident.

Monteverde makes something called Fluorescent Orange for Lamy pens--do you think this is what you have in yours, Toffer? Here's a link: http://www.goldspot.com/Lamy_pens/Refills/L302FOR.html

Thanks to Atsu (cool-japan) for his usual wonderful service (no affil)
Have a bottle of De Atramentis Apple Blossom coming. It was in the Ink Drop this month and I just adored it in my Nakaya. Shaded, so well behaved, and such a sweet gentle color. Had to have a bottle. Smells nice too.
