    someone called this Safari like "color of conrete", so I immediately had to check:



    ...and yes. it comes close. The Safari Itoya is somewhat a "brutalist" fountain pen. Cool, I always knew!

    another example (not brutalist but classic) of pen inspirated architecture:



    but in this case the architect (G. Semper) was convinced enough to take the step of building this design detail and leave the straight path of symmetry which was an extraordinarily courageous step at the time...
