Default WTB: Parker 51 Needlepoint/Accountant/XXXF nib

Looking for a(factory) super-duper-extra-fine(my term) nib for a Parker 51. I'm mostly looking for a loose nib, but would be interested in a complete pen with such a nib fitted.

I'm not looking for a normal XXF or so-I want the finest of the fine. They exist. One of my first Parker 51s had such a nib and I'm kicking myself for selling it, so I'm looking for another.

Needle and Accountant are factory nib grades for a 51.

A needle point is probably what you seek.

You could ask at fivestarpens, as they occasionally have needlepoint nibs for sale. From personal experience I can tell you that they have more nibs than advertised on the site.

Thanks, yes I know accountant and needlepoint were both factory offerings and am looking for one or the other, with the preference being needlepoint.

Am I correct that needlepoint is finer than accountant in factory grades? I think of accountant as being more like XXF-XXXF, and needlepoint as XXXF-XXXXF

I'll contact 5 star and ask. I should have mentioned my preference is for gold...

The one I had wrote in the .2mm range I would say-wish I still had it.

I need to see if I can find old writing samples from it as I'm also working from memory. I finally managed to get a couple of my technical pens back to life, including a .2mm, so I'm using those as a line comparison.
