Can anybody fill me in on what transpires at a Pelikan Hub? I get that there is no manufacturer presence, but who goes and for what purpose? I'm sure there is a social aspect to it, but are there giveaways or demonstrations, or is it like a typical pen club meeting ? The nearest one to me is some drive, and I would like to know what to expect.

Pen people meet up with pens and inks and in that way it's like a regular pen club meet. However for the hubs, Pelikan send out goody bags for every registered participant. They always include a bottle of their latest Edelstein ink.
