Default August update at Main Street Pens

A very short pen hunting expedition (in the "wild" backpacks, boots and radios - and lots of "interesting" people) earlier this week resulted in some nice finds. Not all of them are up, but I expect to have the last couple done shortly. In the mean time you can take a gander at the pens on the pen sales page at Main Street pens. The Cross 150th Anniversary set is one that is still calling me. Absolutely mint, but I may cave and fill the pen unless someone grabs it first. Then there's the red veined gray pearl Slender Balance, with a nice flexy nib. Oh my!

    Hi Ron,

Those are some beauties! I might go after that green striped Schaefer. A question I have had for a long time: how do you increase flow in a triumph nib?

Not being snarky here, but the answer is "very carefully." Opening the tines is difficult because of the shape and rigidity of the nib. Jamming something down the slit can damage the nib, and pulling tines apart causes more problems (like a V shaped slit) than it cures.

Two plunger filler Triumph nibs heading to the sales page later today.
