My owl just arrived quite a few days earlier than expected and must have been flapping really hard, I had a tiny leak from either 45 or 46 but still plenty to work with, I can't wait to see these on paper

    Thanks

My owl was last seen in Los Angeles 2 days ago preparing for the long flight to the old world.

Since then Prof Trelawney lost track of her, I hope she is fine and appear soon on my side of the pond.

My owl arrived yesterday. Wow, that is the biggest owl I have ever seen and he was wearing a blue shirt and dark blue shorts! He left me a small package with all of the inks fully intact! Yeah!

All US Ink Flights have now been safely delivered. Unfortunately, some procrastinating International Owls may have been delayed due to the remnants of Hurricane Kay in Southern California.

*** Just as a kindly reminder, please do not post any reviews of your Mystery Inks until after the International Participants have received their Ink flights. Part of the fun of Mystery Inks is finding out what colors have arrived. Many Thanks! ***

That gif must have been my owl running into windows. I haven't inked these up yet, still have to clean out my pen but looking at them in the vials makes me very intrigued, I can't wait to see all the reviews and especially the very talented drawings.

    Thanks

After some days procrastinating at Los Angeles my owl was now seen at Frankfurt Airport Germany.
I hope she find her way to Austria soon.

The owl 🦉 met at Frankfurt an apprentice wizard with a Nimbus 2000 which trains for the next quidditch season.
He offered to take her to the next hop at max speed, therefor she arrived at Vienna right before.

My owl fancied a short detour flight around Tyneside for some odd reason, but he's now back on track for my local delivery office tomorrow.

I heard the Owls are great fans of the Vera television series. They probably wanted to watch the filming of this Season's episodes before everything shuts down for the Queen's funeral.

    Finally my owl also arrived.

Unfortunately she was not willing to hand out her package with the 3 magical potions.......

After 2 hours trying to convince her to give me the package, I'm really sorry to admit this ..... but I had to shoot her down to get it......

    Sorry for that.

Thanks again for hosting the game and sending me the inks.

Already took a quick peek at #45 ..... gasp....... not blue........

Is anyone still waiting for the owl?

My owl landed here today even managing to not get tracked after going for that quick detour flight around Tyneside then landing in Swindon on Tuesday.
Has everyone now received their inks?

Side note, now for me it is again confirmed that the Austrian Post is a dark Organisation of outlaws, just making money out of everything.
    A gang of highwaymen.

Since mid of last year (they explained it kindly to me) the law for receiving packages and letters (which do not consist only of plain sheets of papers) from countries outside the EU changed (to make imports from China less attractive).

So the Post is now in charge to take care of the customs handling of all sendings received from outside the EU (you have no choice).

They calculate the customs taxes and also take the money from the people (otherwise you don’t get the package).
So far so good, for this mandatory service they charge a service fee (which you have to pay additionally otherwise you also don’t get your package).

But here it comes, even if there are no customs taxes, because the value is only minor, or even if you receive a gift from outside the EU (like magical ink potions) you have to pay the service fee for the customs process, because they had to look at the package 😱

In fact this means you have to pay for each package received from outside the EU this service fee (for the customs process) to the Austrian Post no matter what it is.

Below 45€ value 5€ and above 10€ service fee, no matter if you have to pay customs taxes or not!
Otherwise the package is returned to the sender.

In my eyes this is blackmailing……

Did you heard about something similar in other countries?

Jaguar's ink packet is somewhere around Tahiti where the Owl is waiting for favorable tropical trade winds ( or until its Mouse Bar tab runs out ) before flying on to Australia.

@Ptero, thankfully we don't have this law, though sometimes UPS screws up with extra tax. Once I ordered ink samples from US, and opted for the fast UPS and they taxed me quite bit. I learned my lesson. Now I opt for USPS. Takes longer, but costs cheaper...
