If you're adding links from another web-site then try removing the "s" of https:// as FPG is in an old format and prefers http://
or check out the FAQ at the top^^^ Attachments & Images adding images to a post to make sure you're adding it as it suggests there. Forum members usually prefer to see actual images in posts rather than having to go to other sites to see them.
If you have your images on a PC then it's very easy and straightforward to use the automatic Manage Attachments feature outlined in that FAQ link.

I know pseudo admin Chrissy does not read it but.
Chrissy, it really bugs us when you try to answer an already addressed thing (happens so often)
If you can’t follow threads because you blocked half of the users and therefor can’t follow, then just don’t post.
Easy, isn’t it?
And by the way your explanation is completely nonsense.
The https indicates an ssl encrypted connection and has nothing to do with the board.
Your actual browser establish the underlaying connection to the image hosting host, so if you have a problem with https links get professional help for your machine, you obviously don’t understand it.
In these times all connections should be encrypted.
Using it in a drawing not painterly way makes it for me easier.
Here I used 2 fountain pens, MI45 and Black on a slight toned paper, highlights done with white chalk.

I have to say I again, I like how MI#45 performes in a pen, no hard starts, writes smoothly, allow delicate lines with hatching.
Overall, really good perfomance.

Pterodactylus you are absolutely correct that you're on my ignore list and I don't read your posts because they are never worth reading. Mainly because you always make complaints about other members' and regularly post insults on other members' posts. Then even when someone makes polite requests for you to delete these insults you completely ignore them. That is your attitude to members here. Sling insults around everywhere and be as aggressive as you possibly can.
You seem to find it an amusement to always refer to me as some sort of an admin or moderator which I'm not. I believe it must be because it's something you covet but will never achieve due to the over-aggressive type of person you are. Unlike you I merely try my very best to be helpful which you wouldn't understand because it's not one of your character traits.
You just post huge images all over the place, repeating them everywhere, many of which would be described as "deviant" from the Deviant Art web-site that you post them from, and many of which some believe could almost be described as "soft porn". This is why people add you to their Ignore lists. They don't want to see all of this crazy stuff on a fountain pen forum.
Whether my advice was right or wrong it was posted helpfully to assist another member. The forum FAQ sets out the ways to post an image. It has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with you whether I'm answering a post that you, behaving as God Almighty again, have already posted an answer to therefore no-one else can answer or make any comment according to you. I don't know who the hell you think you are but it's not up to you whether I post on here or not.
Every member on this forum can post any response they wish in order to try to help or answer something posted by any other member. Just because you post something that you think is an answer doesn't mean the subject is closed. In suggesting that you make it abundantly clear exactly what sort of a person you are to everyone.
Apologies to everyone else on here that this post was off topic but this jerk needed telling for once.

Completely off topic, but everyone can make up his mind based on the post above.
I don’t have to go to details, everyone can see what a vicious frustrated person you seem to be.
I never insult members here, prove me wrong if you can.
If you don’t like my posts, don’t read them, personally I think yours are also often not helpful but vicious, trying make root against members you do not agree, in best case funny if not taken serious.
Thank you for the tip! I was using the forum's tool for embedding an image but it didn't seem to work. I'll go back through and edit using the BBcode method.

You are welcome Jaguarish
As it behaves quite nice in my fine tipped pen I wanted to test it under really wet conditions.
This wet automatic pen brings the 90gsm Clairefontaine paper to the limit for this ink, when it´s too wet some feathering is visible, also not only see through but also bleed through to the next page.
But considering the wetness it´s still a respectable result for this ink.

So far I've only written with MI inks #45 and 46 but here are my thoughts on both of these inks on cream 52gsm Tomoe River paper in my Seven Seas Writer Journal and on white Rhodia 80gsm paper in a Rhodia DotPad.
MI#45 & MI#46 on TR:

I found the nib slightly less lubricated than usual:

Thank-you Ptero and Chrissy for helping our new participant Jaguarish with posting the pictures. I think sometimes people forget that if you don't post a lot of scans and/or pictures here at fpg the user software can be confusing. I've been here over 5 years at fpg and have only posted pictures 3 times (not counting Owls...), and each time I use the software it takes a while for me, with lots of "Preview" to see if it looks okay. Do I use "link" or "embed"; does it accept a gif or is the file too big? So please, a little patience for us newbies and many thanks for all the personal help with posting pictures!
Once we get closer to 07 October, just PM me if any participant needs more time and we can extend the ink reveals by 7 to 10 days. Have fun!
All the Best.

You don't belong there
Very interesting
I was doing some practice sketches/washes on Canson water colour book, for the Inktober.
The sketch didn't turn out right but the wash looked interesting. That's why I'm posting it. The wash is a combination of 45/47.

I tried the wash later on sketching paper, it didn't work out as the paper was too absorbent. Lesson learned

Mystery #46 is the most intriguing ink. It's such a chameleon.
Here is a sample writing, with
Broad Lamy Safari
Jinhao 450 Medium nib
Jinhao 450 Fude nib
Paper is Mnemosyne.

Some other writing samples
I had flow issues on both Safari and Jinhao with a medium nib.
However, when I changed the nib of the Jinhao to a fude the flow was pleasant which is unusual, normally it's the other way around.
Another interesting thing is that the Medium Jinhao and Safar broad look almost alike.
First line is Jinhao 450 medium
2nd Lamy Safari Broad
3rd is Jinhao 450 Fude

Some testing with MI 45, cleaning my cross tonight to start testing 46
The more I wrote with 45 the more I liked it but I would have such limited use for that color, so it would be a once in a blue moon color for me, but the way it felt pen on paper was great, it felt extremely lubricated and quite a wet flow which I much prefer to dry. I'd like to try it in my Lamy fine nib to see if it feels as good as my Cross medium nib but for the life of me no matter how many times I flush the pen and converter the water keeps turning green. I'll have to try a water and ammonia mix to see if I can get that ink gremlin out of there.
I may do the rest of my tests in print since my concussion I've noticed my writing is more shaky and my thoughts are jumbled more than
Just realized I wrote the number as 55 instead of 45 oops haha usual
Thanks

This morning's test of Mystery Ink #45 in Hahnemuehle sketch diary, playing with brush and water. Comparison to some other inks and still haven't found an exact match!

I thought I could see fluoresence in the wet pools but wasn't able to capture it in photos. This close up might hint at it.

However! When I dipped my glass pen to clean it, I noticed an interesting effect and quickly took a series of action shots.
