    #10, Crabby.

    Most of my drawings for Inktober were not done with fountain pens, I like Pigma Microns, Copic Multiliners, and similar pens for that purpose. But here is one where I did use a fountain pen, a vintage Conklin Crescent Filler. And three of my upcoming drawings used different FPs.

    I'm a bit behind as we now have car problems as well as our central heating problems plus we've both been ill since our Covid boosters and flu vaccinations. "Sigh." Everything always happens at the same time.

    Day 8 Match. Kept it simple.

    Continuing with the theme:

    Platinum Carbon Black/ Noodler's Polar Brown/Mystery inks 45/46 any many more...

    What Arnie the Armadillo couldn't see from his window, in rue Forget, was a compadre, who had pulled off a heist at the local insectarium, rushing past a "bad" dog who had forgot it was fixed (or not), putting her owner, the pink fairy in an awkward position.

    Thankfully the robin's eggs, in the nest above had not hatched to the rated R (17+) scene below and the Eagle couldn't careless

    How many sketches you go through, before finding the right one?

    I once had the privilege to see a storyboard artist work. It was amazing how he broke down scenes from different angles.....

    Nice one @Ptero, no more mystery inks junior is developing his style
    @Christof clever
    @Kaputnik, evocative
    @Catbert, Peter, beat me to it.

    Funny thing, Eagle to my mind is a symbol of Ego. As a child, I was fascinated by the tale of a proud eagle, who was shot by an arrow. As he was crashing down he noticed that to the arrow was affixed his own feathers.... Eagle has fallen

    #12, Forget.

    I was originally going to use a picture of a small sketchbook open to two blank pages. I even took the picture, but then decided that this was a little too obvious.

    So I drew something else, but the more I looked at it, the less I liked it. I didn't just want to forget about it, though.

    Then I remembered a cartoon character known for his forgetfulness. I hope this is recognizable as Cuthbert Calculus from the Tintin comics.

    url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/77103607@N00/] [/url]

    And although a rule I've made for myself is to do the Inktober drawings in ink, there's no reason I can't do them in watercolor also. Watercolor pencils and one pan paint in this case.

    Prompts for 9th, 10th and 11th. Nest, Crabby and Eagle.

    It's an Eagle's nest with 3 chicks inside - artistic licence, and a Crabby crab. If I subsequently get time to draw an adult eagle I will have a go but I wanted to play catch up first. We might finally sort out our car trouble today by selling it.

    For the crab I used Sailor Manyo Ha Ha with a bit of Monteverde Purple added along the upper portion. I don't think that part worked very well. The crab body is Birmingham Pens Riot Ember. - Nice colour )
