I see several in there that would be quick easy sales for a lot of dealers.

I know you don't want to sell separate, but if you should find yourself there I'd be a buyer on the jade Duofold and the Skyline set, potentially others. PM me if so.

If selling as a lot best to put a price on the group as a whole and not worry about individual prices.

I can think of a few buyers for you if you have no luck finding someone local to here or need options.

Generally in "consignment" sales you retain ownership of the item(s) while someone else keeps them in their possession. That person then advertises the items for sale or otherwise places them for sale and handles all of the nuts-and-bolts of getting them to the individual buyers. Once sold, the seller will remit the money to you less their consignment fee-often 10-30% based on several different factors. It's similar to selling through an auction house, however you are at the mercy of how quickly the item sells.

I've sold odds and ends from my watch collection on consignment before, always through the same person who was better connected than I was to find a buyer for some more unusual pieces.

Usually the money from consignment is better than simply selling outright to a dealer, as in the latter case the dealer is tying up their money up-front and knowing that getting it back may take months or years as they work through. The other side, though, is that in a consignment sale you don't get any money until the dealer is able to sell. Auctions are kind of a middle ground, as you do get the money(reasonable) close to the end of the auction, but prices realized are somewhat variable.

This is again one of your unique EOC threads.

I can’t understand why you don’t want to keep them.
Even you don’t use them right now, they don’t need much space, unless you need the money.

But as you thinking about just give them away, it seems you don’t really need money.

Some of them look very nice, and create inside me a subtile “want to have” feeling.
Which often happens when I look at nice pens, but I learned to suppress such feelings in the last years.

    My advice would be:

    1. Keep them and put them back in a drawer, you might change your mind some time and will be happy to pull out some of them for use. It will be just like getting something new if they stayed long enough in the drawer (imho best solution)

    2. If for some reason you canˋt just keep them, sell them off individually, to get at least some money out of them to use for whatever you enjoy these days.

EOC, these pens caught my eyes in particular, I’m curious to learn something about them.
Could you please tell me some words about them?

No consignment shops in your city?

edited: since I know your city of residence (I used to, anyway), I did a search and found some, a few of which seem not to be just clothing. Maybe one of them?

I wish i could buy the lot from you, it’s a great selection, but unfortunately it’s not in the budget

Have you tried emailing Ron Zorn? His Main Street pens website says he buys pens

    Why always so complicated EOC?

Create a selling thread, enter prices for the individual pens, optionally a price for the whole lot for fast buyers and sell them off…… done.

I've offered pens to Terri at Peyton Street Pens in the past. In short, she will buy them outright. I believe she offered me around $240 for a pen lot. I ended up passing on the offer and decided to just wait and sell them myself. Ended up making about $500, which I reckon she would make, too, so I assume she offers about 50% of their value (unless she valued some of them much higher than I did).

You can contact her and inquire, though, and attach an image of the pens and see what she says.
