OS "GF piston filler" in classy black celluloid

Hi all !
I was lucky to get a short rod of black celluloid, being actually the most difficult to find celluloid.
After some considerations I decided to use it for a MB139 inspired GF piston filler
The rod was just long enough to make one two different barrels.
A “long ink window “ version which is shown on the picture below, an a "standard length" ink window version, which I will probably also make.
Surely would appreciate your opinion on this pen, do you think a normal length ink window would look nicer on this pen?
On the pictures below you can see the pen featuring the long ink window.

PS :Note that on the un-capped pen one can see the piston screwed fully out, ready for filling..

In my opinion, the long ink window is absolutely fabulous! I really wish more pens were made this way. Great work Francis!

Full disclosure: the MB 139 with long ink window is my grail pen, so I guess I am biased in that way.

I've already said this, but I am really smitten with this one Francis. Even more than some of your previous 139 inspired pens. I absolutely love the long ink window - and just about everything else about it too!

I prefer ink windows hidden by the cap. Long ink windows will capture the attention of collectors vying for 139s, but my opinion is an exposed ink window interferes with an otherwise clean design of a capped pen.

That is a great looking own and I love the long ink window. Is an ink window hard to do when making a pen?

I favor ink windows that are covered by the cap. Collectors vying for 139s will be drawn in by long ink windows, but in my opinion, an exposed ink window ruins the otherwise sleek appearance of a capped pen.
