Default Using a vintage flex pen to brand a coffee blend gift bag

So my wife decided to share her years of accumulated experience of grinding and blending coffee beans with a few close families at the church tonight at the Christmas celebration.

I am of course, tasked to come up with something that can pass for a brand just for fun. We both are retro/antique/vintage nuts, so what better excuse for me to whip up one of my vintage flex and see if it earns its keeps.

After pages of trial-and-error, last night I finally finished a dozen hand-written coffee bag branding using that pen in the photo. The ink is Diamine Brandy Dazzle (no, there is no brandy in the coffee).

I'm really impressed with that little Waterman pen with Warranted nib, not a single railroading incident and even though the coffee bag surface is no Rhodia, it handles the flex and a lot of ink without feathering.

Penwash - A bit off topic here, but being a coffee fanatic I'd love to hear some details on your wife's coffee bean grinding and blending experience! Thanks!

She uses different coffee beans (of course) and she experiments with the ratio.
So her blend changes depending on the availability of the ingredient beans.
I asked and she said her "Holiday Blend" is build up from Sumatra.

I know next to nothing about coffee, only enough to realize that my wife's blends are different and people seems to like them from beginner coffee drinker to seasoned ones
