[SOLD] Vintage Montblanc 149 14C F from 1973-1982
Pics. https://imgur.com/a/jXWipK4
Another pen that needs no introduction. This generation of 149 is considered superior than the following generations and modern 149s for a number of reasons:
Two-tone 14c nib is not flexy but slightly more springy than the modern nib.
Split ebonite feed provides better ink flow than the modern plastic feed.
Resin piston is lighter than the metal piston adopted for the following generations. The former provides a better weight balance (not heavy in the back).
Again, it's a 50 year old pen so there are minor scratches. The pen is fully functional with smooth piston and ready to write.
$425 shipped CONUS.
