Default Birmingham Agave: mini-review and comps

I got this ink to go with my new Kaweco AL Sport in Blue Iguana, and it's a fun match. In a broad nib it's very wet and smooth-writing. I don't have Jade Inferno, but it looks as if JI is more green and has the sheen. Agave doesn't sheen--just nice saturation, though. I have the old version of Birmingham Fountain Turquoise, which I love--Fountain Turquoise is more neon. Here are some other comps to Agave (the Pennonia ink is more blue, actually, despite its name).

Thank you for the review. Great colour ink. Thank goodness it's similar enough to Diamine Aurora Borealis and Yuletide as BP don't ship to the UK anymore.

Very nice review! It does appear very close to Fountain Turquoise, so I will likely pass on this one.
