    Default Writing kit to go

When I want to write somewhere away from home base, this is what my to-go kit looks like. It's designed for a 13-inch notebook computer, but it's perfect for notepads, stationary, postcards and postage stamps. Fountain pens of various types are filled with a variety of inks and slipped into leather Pelikan cases which in turn fit in pockets. This method has served me well for a very long time. Notebook computers have gotten so thin that I can even slip one of those next to the stationary.

Usually I'll carry two or three Pelikan cases for six or nine pens to have a spot for my eyeglasses. But occasionally I can't resist taking more.
