Re: Midori leather notebook cover
I do not like goat as a general rule. Based on first hand experiences, goats don’t really like me either.

Re: Midori leather notebook cover
I've had a Midori goatskin leather notebook cover for several years. It has worn beautifully despite the fact that I am pretty hard on my notebooks. It has gotten darker with age - see the pictures below - but not that much. I've had several things made from goatskin and they last quite well.

Another option for you is to look at Stride Ridge (https://www.strideridge.com/). I purchased a cover for my Hobinechi last year, then another for my Seven Seas notebook. They are very nice and have lasted really well, even when I take them out with me when I do field work.

I have a small passport one. I really like it. It's very elegant and it has aged into a pleasing colour. I'll try to post a photo sometime tomorrow, if you're interested
