We think of pumpkin, pecan, sweet potato, and apple “pies” at this time of year. From early on I was taught that a proper pie has two crusts and tarts have a single crust ( often thicker and not a flake crust but a crumb crust). I suppose exception can be made for custard and cream pies once a year.
Post Thanksgiving question: cherry dessert with a crust bottom and a lattice top. Pie or tart?
    Yes.

In the official rule book a lattice top is considered correct and is a pie.

    The world needs more pie.

    It does.
And as soon as I recover from my last over-indulgence I'll have some more.

For consistency's sake, I recommend ignoring Monsoon "in Thailand?" if he pipes in.

I thought I noticed some erasure marks in the pencil thread.

I don't really do "ignore list" stuff, but make an exception for spam accounts. Thing is that there are a lot of them that don't follow typical spammer profile - like xingjiaminer's spam in the For Sale forum. Instead, they're too select in location and frequency - like Mik Joger.

Here's a new one in the politics forum, for example:

Maybe vindictive trolling via spam is a thing, like vindictive tagging, etc...

Mik Joger is no longer on the member list. I wonder if some magic Eric fairy dust happened? Might also be worth a try with Joincte1993?

I have been reporting every spammer that I see for a couple of weeks. Tiresome, but I suppose that EO gets messages to his email inbox. So maybe there is a cummulative effect over time. ??

Mık Joger is still a member. The character between the “m” and “k” is not an “i”.

Sorry my bad there. Didn't look closely enough at that character.

    It's actually a U+0131 : LATIN SMALL LETTER DOTLESS I

I think it says something about payback.

I’ll ask the in-laws. I mostly just recognize the food symbols and I’m not allowed to order…

Good call. Apple translate seems to agree

Some may think this thread is evil, and others believe it’s retribution. Seems like some harsh words, and maybe a problem of translation; but that’s the funny thing about proverbs. They work all kinds of ways.
