A good video. Can one tool be used to fix all Vacumatic pens?

I believe that there are two tool sizes available from the UK seller I know of so can only assume there are two different vac sizes unless one of the tools is only for the Parker 51 vac version???

Notice the complexity of the filling system, and compare it to lever fillers. Parker must have put significant engineering into the design.

The goal was to suck ink through the section into a barrel that afforded a view of ink, but Parker's design would not depart from relying on squeezing a rubber sac, regardless of complexity.

Depending on exactly what you collect, one tool can be used for MOST Vacumatic-filling pens.

In the first generation pens, the Standard and Deb used the same size tool and Oversize used a larger one.

From the second generation on, most pens standardized to a Deb-sized diaphragm and used the same tool for removal. The Speedline filler in the Maxima uses a standard size diaphragm, but is still removed with the smaller of the two fillers.

So basically everything with this type filler-Vacumatics, Duofolds, and 51s-will use the smaller sized tool with the exception of the first gen Oversize.

Incidentally too, I'm going to be ordering diapragms later today as I'm running low, and I expect this order to last me a year or two. I'm ordering 3 each standard and oversize, and a dozen Deb size...
