    “Tough call”. Pffff…..
Had it been your child, what would you have wanted Biden to do? And, who is the bad man here? Is it, a. Biden, b. Trump, c. Putin? I find it sad that so many consider Putin to have scored a win, embarrassed Americans, and have disparaged Griner. For any parent with multiple children know, children make mistakes. And as any businessperson knows, make the best deal possible.

Well, that's exactly what happened Candy/Chuck.

Look, I'm glad she's home. No human being, ever, should have to endure the atrocities she was subjected to....you want to talk about sad?? Well that was sad.

But it is embarrassing and humiliating that Putin, once again, has made us look like a bunch of idiots, courtesy of the idiot who calls himself our President. A well documented arms dealer with intention to kill innocent Americans in trade for an anti-American protester? You can't be serious!
Geeze, talk about the short end of the stick!!

You can feel sad all you want, I'm furious that the Demento-in-Chief has looked us all in the eye and lied to us about that whole thing. He chose the anti-American protester over the Marine who has risked his life to allow her, and others, to have the freedom to protest as she wished. Putin wanted Viktor Bout back very badly and I have no doubt that he'd have agreed to a Whelan-Bout exchange. Want to wager a bet about how long it will take before Viktor is back in action??

To call this decision one of "humanity over geopolitics" is an insult to the intelligence of every American. Biden selfishly chose the added political capital he has gained with the woke, left, progressives voting block by going with Griner. For him, this is just political chits in the bank and nothing more.

Again, I am overjoyed Griner is home but I vehemently resent the lies and the decision of the President to chose politics over rationality. We got screwed. And, a decorated Marine got left behind. Other than Griner's safety, there is nothing good or to like about this most current episode of "I'm so woke."

How many children died globally because of this "Merchant of Death"? Why doesn't candy care about them?

All this reminds me of something a preacher used to say, "they (church members) think the Devil is more powerful than Jesus". Biden is weak and Putin strong, some think. Trump liked Putin if I remember.

Yes, it is a common trope from one said that Putin is the hero and has the upper hand? Have you ever known an autocrat to ultimately win? As Dr. King said, the arc of the moral universe is long, but bends toward justice. There will come a reckoning. I'd rather ere on the side of saving one than leaving both under the rule of a brutal tyrant.

candy only cares about dead children when it was covid that killed them. Guns and vaccines are ok. It probably correlates to what her investment portfolio looks like. Big pharma? check. Gun industry? draw your own conclusions.

Now you sound like Kaz. Apparently there are only three members here, me, Ted, and four profiles.

Isn't this marine the guy who was court-martialed and had a bad conduct discharge when convicted on multiple counts of larceny, dereliction of duty, identity fraud, false statements and check fraud? Just curious. And she did what - took a knee?

Maybe this guy isn't the hero you think he is. Lets not deify him to score political points. His own brother agreed with the whole thing.

Yes, but he is a hero to members here simply by being in the military. He also worked for Kelly Services before joining the Marines if that matters.

Yes, she took a stand after Brianna Taylor was slaughtered.

He served in Iraq, Candy/Chuck. How about you?

There is no denying there are some issues in his past but I think the most telling thing about those issues is how suddenly the liberal press has put out stuff touting them........ in obvious defense of Biden's lies.

No, it’s only when you all started being disingenuous toward BG. You have absolutely and incapacity for objectivity.

Geeza Louisa, Candy/Chuck. Have you EVER had an original thought??

Sorry, the "Three Stooges" moniker has been taken. You need to come up with something else.

"some issues" I think it takes more than a few issues to get Court-martialed and booted.
