Hi all, I am offering a rare and gorgeous Parker Junior Dupfold, which was produced in the 1920s and 30s. It is in brilliant condition as it has been completely cleaned and restored. The price is 1200 euros. Shipping worldwide possible.
I am not quite sure if the price is realistic. I did a little research and found a similar Senior Duofold, which went for 1500 USD at Bonhams in 2017. If you know better, I would appreciate your advice.
No real idea of a reasonable price on this, but it's an absolutely gorgeous pen and I wish it was feasible for me to even make an offer now.
Melt value would set an absolute floor, although hopefully no one would be buying this with that intent. Do you have a weight for the complete pen? I know there's a lot of non-gold parts to it, but that would give some range of where that value would fall.
Thanks for your help. Yet I doubt if the mere weight provides a reliable indication for the worth of the pen as it is quite unique. I have not found another one of its kind on the net.
