I really like the succinct format of your reviews. Keep them rolling

(I posted this message on the wrong GvFC blue so have moved it here.)
Thanks dneal I have this blue and must consider using it more. It's a lovely blue

Thanks for the review, I like the bottle more than the ink.

Truth be told, I didn't like it at first. I had a lot of dark blue inks at the time, which was when GvFC released this line, Pilot's Iroshizuku inks came out, etc... IIRC, this was the only blue in the "new" GvFC lineup*.
I also have some cartridges and popped one in a pen I was troubleshooting, and "rediscovered" it, so to speak. I've really grown to appreciate it now.
*I think the original colors were Carbon Black, Cobalt Blue, Moss Green and Hazlenut Brown. GvFC's Royal Blue was still in the old Pelikan shaped bottles, and not the current formula.

I'm talking about the release with the new style bottles. They've added colors since originally released (in 2014? I remember going to a shop in Heidelberg and being hesitant with the €25 price). The Royal Blue in the old Pelikan-style bottle wasn't the same ink as today's. Also, I thought the old black just said Schwarz/Black on the bottle.

Great review. This is another one of the regular blues that I use. It isn't "fancy" but it is quite reliable.
