I've finally started drawing again and have come up with a simple version of a Hawk:

Thanks Yazeh, I'm hoping to feel even better by the time we get on the plane to travel across the pond. I'm looking at maybe buying one or two bits and pieces while I'm there. Especially getting some ink samples. Why do none of the popular stores that sell them ever have their offers on when I'm there?

I don't know if they still do, but some US sites offer a discount code (by email) on your birthday, so you could sign up for accounts and say your birthday is in late April. Also, some send you a discount code when you sign up for their email newsletter - those will usually display a popup after going to their home page. FWIW.

On another art forum the prompt was shoe. I couldn't bring myself to draw any old shoe, so I combined it with tear.
And named it Shoes of tear.
This was done from "imagination",

Back ground: Kala Hematite /Scapolite (dabbed with paper towel)
Noodler's Polar Brown - Dostoyevsky /Lermontov (blues)
Platinum Carbon Black
Gutenberg Urkundentinten G10 Iron Gall ink - As the ink is expired, I used it for the shoe.
Kakimori Torori (flame)

Fabriano Water colour. 140 lb, 4"X8" (10. 2 cm X20.3 cm)- I really like this paper. It's really thick.

I'll say (that it was done from imagination)! I was going to ask if you'd had too much chocolate before bed (chocolate always makes my dreams more interesting). Thank you for the very interesting shoe-choo-train / crying candle... If you decide to do a revision, you could add a cat's paw trying to knock the train off the shoe... I keep looking at this, checking for things I missed. The relatively brighter blue and orange of the candle really draw your eye in. Well done, Yazeh!

Thank you. For some reason, tear is an inspiring prompt, as it contains so much grief, happiness, sappiness, crocodiles, etc
