First I dumped all De Atraemtnis Document & Artist Cyan in my pens and all the rest of my sample of Artist Sepia and a bit Vert de Gris.
It turned into a nice mess, but not dark enough
Then I poured Diamine Shimmering seas and then added bleach. All the blue disappeared...

Catch-up for frame.

On the set of North by Northwest, filming the scene at the United Nations in which the protagonist is framed for murder. The director perhaps framing a different scene in his head. Drawing framed in 1.85:1 aspect ratio to match the theatrical release.

Here's my hawk:

I feel pretty satisfied with the wings, but I flipped the tail while I was drawing so it's perspective is all off, still sort of works I guess.

Thoughts on making the far wing look more like it's further away?

Continuing the cinematic sub-theme because it seemed a shame to waste all the time spent trying to draw director’s chairs, here’s Howard Hawks, a leopard, and a young Cary Wolf in a break during the filming of Bringing Up Baby. Framed in Academy ratio.
