Quid rides? Mutato nomine de te fabula narratur. — Horace
(What are you laughing at? Just change the name and the joke’s on you.)
I'm the same. I may have said before, for me the interval between drawings is the time it takes to abandon the original idea in favour of something I can actually do. Regular Inktober will be a nice corrective to my tendency to overcomplicate (as below).
But I look forward to those.
True, but I think Pig and Wolfie might take a break at the end of the year.

And now this ...

(I think I've got all the vampire research out of my system now.)
It is absolutely spectacular @catbert . I often have the tendency with the monthly inktober to see a story. This time I've reined that part and have opted for simplicity. It's still frustrating that I can not yet create what I imagine. I do it more as a creativity/spiritual exercise. To bring fun to deadlines. Something to look forwards too rather than backward![]()

M: I came here for a good argument.
A: No you didn't; no, you came here for an argument.
M: An argument isn't just contradiction.
A: It can be.
M: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.
A: No it isn't.
M: Yes it is! It's not just contradiction.
A: Look, if I argue with you, I must take up a contrary position.
M: Yes, but that's not just saying 'No it isn't.'
A: Yes it is!
M: No it isn't!
