Cleaned kitchen counter flood following ten inches of rain, then cleared clogged gutters that caused the indoor pond in the first place.

So hungry (fast before blood draw), going to look for a frenchfried elephant.

Picked Premier Honey Crisp (eating) and MacIntosh (baking) apples.
Farmers Market for lettuce, tomatoes, corn on the cob.
Today’s foe eating.

Been moving furniture, picking Dragon Rolls, tossing rotten tomatoes (crying!), shuffling pens and inks, shopping, and uhhhmmm. It's mostly a blur.

In past years whenever we went camping we.brought rain to dry and arid lands.
This year we’re bringing the heat. First trip in the 90’s.
This trip mid-80’s and +90% humidity.
Still beats working for a living.

Sat on the beach as the dog pounced on the waves. Sand between my toes, sun and clouds, birds streaming low over the water.
Sigh-home tomorrow.

Caught up on a hella-lotta correspondence. As a result, caused need for more.
The true never-ending story.

Welcomed an uber-cool li'l Estie 'B' Bandless into my home. Older even, than ME!
Swapped in some new nibbery I'd ordered previously in anticipation. LUVIN' it!!
Can't get over that these li'l jewels originally sold for (& even acquired the moniker of) 'One Dollar pens'. 1 steenkin' $ !!!
I paid north of $70 -- talk about appreciation!!
Compared to some of the slugs I've got, worth every penny! & more!! LOL

Woke 0Dark30 (again!), wrote a letter with new Magic Color Shifting Ink and Sailor Tuzu pen, started another. Freed Wality stuck piston. Ran a Laundry. Tried going to dockside town, got a little lost. Home again, home again, jigety-jig.

Yesterday we had two new doors fitted, front and back. Before the door fitters could begin, the man from the burglar alarm company had to disconnect their door contacts and switch the alarm off. We caught him just as he was leaving and mentioned that the mode he had left the alarm in produced a loud beep sound every so often. Fortunately he came back and made it quiet or we would not have had a pleasant night's sleep!

Today he came back to fit our expensive and almost Fort Knox style doors with new burglar alarm contacts so we are now free of tradesmen and have new doors plus a working alarm system over the weekend. Phew! It's stressful having things done by tradesmen. New wndows plus a patio door next.. once they get them from the manufacturers. Those will take a week. More stress. Afterwards quieter and warmer doors and windows for winter though.

…and painting a bathroom ceiling. And I am re-shuffling my art supplies because I ordered stuff I already had (canceled order just in time). In between, watching golf.
