I was originally going to run it under water after the drip test, but once I saw the results, I figured there wan't really a need - especially for the blue!

Strange inks...I normally use those Dollar Demonstrators for Mystery Ink testing because I know they write on the wet side, and I can see the ink in them. But all three inks started hard. Except that now, #49/Blue is gushing. And #50/graybrown has to be dipped in water.

The only happy ink is #48/pale pinkbrown in the TWSBI Go.
My other pen is a Montblanc.

And my other blog is a tumblr!

I thought I was the only one. #49 writes like one of these smearing inks, a bad mix of Diamine Bilberry and OS. Nitrogen . I have been using the pumice stone since, since I've been testing it

For me, #48 is still OK lubrication wise and good flow-wise (just the one pen). #49 is a gusher, whatever nib I put on my Al-Star. And #50 is wet, with long dry-times, but good lubrication. I have no plans to put these inks in any other pens this round, but I will add them to the EFNIR list once I know their names. Right now, they're not even in my database.

A little writing review with MI 49 and a couple quotes (love it when my PTS/anxiety hit right in the middle of me trying to write something and my handwriting get real shaky)

Sorry I'm running behind I'm hoping tomorrow will stay free for me to really get some more done with 48 and 49 and finally get into 50.

I also tried messing with the color settings on my phone to adjust to show more what I was seeing. I might try retaking the pictures in direct sunlight instead of under LED lighting.

    Thanks

I'm not sure if I like this ink. It's too wet with some nibs and too dry with others. I'm really confused.

Hey, you got shading, @Yazeh!! Good job. I haven't managed that. Maybe I should break down and put the broad nib on my Al-Star... I know what you mean about it seeming wet and dry. I was writing a little more with it earlier and toward the end, it seemed a little drier, which it shouldn't do if it's a gusher (which is how it usually seems). Also unsure what to make of that.

I don't have inks that compare to any of them! This surprises me. The closest I have is Oxford Blue for #49, and I don't think it's that close a match.

I have a few comparison inks to MI#49. I picked out these at my first look and restricted them to those with a noticeable red sheen
