    My picture skills are non existent. But I’ve really enjoyed the inks. #48, while dry, gave some nice shading and has interesting color for a brown ink. #49 was quite smooth and flowed well in the pens I used. #50 just might have been my favorite with it’s dark grey shading and undertones of browns and or greens somewhere in it.

    I can imagine that. It's not so different from un-dyed leather.

    Whoa! Just started using #48 on Leuchtturm1917, and it's much darker and browner here. And tested on my other papers, and perhaps this pen doesn't seal well and it's suffering from evaporation, or perhaps the ink just darkens in the pen over time. Not sure which. Not sure whether I like the darker version better or not. Time will tell.

    @sailor, love those sketches.
    @LizEf, it's fun to see a non -Efnir style review

    Normally I start with comparison/ writing samples...
    But as I was working on a sketch, I thought I'll post it first.
    The only non - mystery ink is Apache sunset

    The "angel" feathers - Mystery 48
    The outlines - Mystery 50
    Urn Mystery 50
    Warrior - All 3 inks

    OK, and now I'll agree that #48 doesn't have the greatest lubrication - it's fine on TR and in my Rhodia Webbie, but it was not so nice in that Leuchtturm.

    I'm trying to do some of the things I would usually do (chroma, swatches, microscope slides), but I'm winging it on the rest!

    Ha! So much for that idea. Of course, the ink is getting darker and browner now in my pen, so the natural leather color is fast becoming a thing of the past...

    Mystery 48. At first I was sure this is Kyoto Tag ink. But nothing came close to it. It's too dry/dark to be KWZ Brown Pink. It could be Inkebara Pale violet/ or Brown Pink. But no review mentions dry. So, I am concluding like Liz, it's the notorious dry FWP, either Cream of Earl Grey or Lady Rose.

    For 49, I'm going for Colorverse Quasar

    Some writing with MI 48, more to come soon

    The image definitely makes the ink look darker and more brown than what my eyes see.
