Default vintage Pelikan Boxes and other ephemera

I will continue generating some vintage pelikan content.

A very interesting topic in my eyes are vintage Pelikan boxes, leaflets and other ephemera, because they are proof of Gunter Wagners sens for commercial graphic and corporate design.

That's I will start with a couple of photos of vintage boxes. Feel free to join in with whatyou have:

    Pelikan 100 cardboard box

very clever design, positioning the pen diagonally to hold it in place...

Pelikan 100N card board box, same design but different size and different picture on lid

    ...deluxe version with felt inside:

another deluxe box for Pelikan 100N, 400 et al

original Pelikan 300 box (not spectacular but pretty rare!)

    Pelikan pen stand

Pelikan travel ink well (bought at Fritz Schimpf, Tübingen Germany)

Very nice christof. I've seen Lamy and Pelikan. Do you collect Kaweco?

Here comes another luxury box of the 1930's

This box is covered with faux leather and reveted with golden velvet and silk. I have seen red an dark blue ones.

The box is listed in a price list from 1932 and numbered with No. 10. There was a similar but larger gift box which contained a pen and a travelling inkwell No. 66p

here's a box with a Pelikan 400 and 450 in gray striped celluloid sold in italy*. I guess that the box was made in italy too.

and a second italian box for a pelikan 400 desk pen:

this is probably a set that was assembled at the Pelikan factory in Milano.

red Pelikan metal case from mid 50's, early 60's. There is a picture in the catalog from 1955:

Since I am running out of boxes, this will be my last contribution to this thread for a while.

The last boxes are in my opinion the most beautiful ones, Pelikan ever made. These are not only nice gift boxes to throw away after having unboxed the gift. They are made of durable bakelite in nice colors with a robust hinge between the lid and the bottom part . These are small enough to carry around.

I found these boxes on a leaflet from around 1938. According to this leaflet the boxes are called No. RN and there were different colors availabe.

The innards of the box suits to Pelikan 100N, so I think it was meant for these

    Pelikan 100N, 200, Etui R by C.M.Z, auf Flickr

but Pelikan 100 will also fit:

    Pelikan, 100, 200, Etui R by C.M.Z, auf Flickr

the matching pencils were the same at that time, both AUCH Pelikan 200.

I would love to see also other colors of these boxes!

PS: added pictures of Pelikan 400 and 140 card board boxes to the first thread.

PPS: feel free to post pictures of your vintage Pelikan boxes!

Thank you christof. Now's the time for me to join in. Yesterday I found that my jeweller friend had a lonely one of these in an old box on a shelf in the back of her shop. Now the bird has flown to my home.
