FS: Vintage Pelikan 400NN (Black Stripe, 14C F Nib)

For sale is a vintage Pelikan 400NN black stripe fountain pen with a 14C F nib. The general condition is excellent. The cap and barrel have small amounts of typical wear (light scratches) from age and normal use. The gold trim is also in excellent condition with only some scratches to the cap band and some light plating loss to the clip ring. The transparency of the barrel is excellent. The F nib can offer some line variation but isn't semi-flex. The piston filling mechanism is in working order and moving up and down the barrel very smoothly. Vintage Pelikans can have issues with the section shrinking, but I was able to unscrew and reinstall the F nib unit without issue. I'm sorry if my pictures don't adequately show the black stripe design; it is a more difficult pattern to capture than the more common green stripe and brown tortoise. $165 including shipping in the USA.
