Nice review, dneal, thank you. It looks to have a little green in it, which would be right up my alley, so to speak. Other online images make it look too blue for me, but then Mountain of Ink has it next to Robert Oster School Blue (which I should not like, and yet do), and they're quite similar. I may have to sample this ink - if it's still around in 2025.

I've thought I've seen green several times, but am confident now that it doesn't. I'm sure there's a paper towel chroma-thingy sample on the interwebz surely showing green though.

It's a confusing ink. They've probably captured the true range of indigo, as my best description.

    From The Debate Over Indigo

a color between blue and violet in the spectrum

True. There's no red (ergo no violet) in this ink, best I can tell. It's strictly Blue, it seems (or indigo, rather).

The colour is a pleasing/handsome blue....I like but not enough to splurge on it

Even my wife is stumped. She didn't believe it was the same ink.

Me: What do you think of this ink?
    Her: Which one?

We're calling it Voldemort Blue. The blue that can't be named.

Wow, so pretty! Your handwriting is beautiful. I can definitely see the Prussian blue in there.

Why not put a few drops on a paper towel, into a glass and check the chroma? This way you might find a way defeat blue who shan't be named?

I did wet the paper towel that was stained from pulling/swapping nibs.

It's a true indigo - that blue hue that just broaches violet.
