Hi Everyone

Hello,

My name is Drew and I'm from Nebraska. I have been interested in fountain pens for a while - though they have always taken a backseat to my active obsession with pencils. I have acquired a couple old and non-working pens from my grandfather when he passed and have attempted to get them up and running with no luck. I have since bought a couple cheap fountain pens and am now hooked. (a Kaweco Perkeo which I adore, a cheapo speedball and 2 Sailor Fude de Mannen pens which I am super excited about but can't get to work) I suppose I joined this forum to geek out and see what everyone else is up to, but also to try and troubleshoot my Fude pens and figure out how to get my antique Watermans up and running. Glad to know this place exists and I'm glad to be here!

I have three of those Sailors, and they SHOULD work, right out of the box. Would love to help. What inks are you using?

The antique pens will probably need to be re-sacced. I'm not sure if this is a job for a novice.
