Pilot Converters
Quick question
Are all Pilot Converters interchangeable at the point the attach to the nib section? I know some wont fit in the barrel of some models but similar to where you can substitute a CON40 for a CON70, will either fit where a CON20 fits?
Thanks,
Keith

Re: Pilot Converters
Yes, they are interchangeable - CON-40, CON-50, CON-20, CON-70, and Pilot cartridges. The only issues are:
1. The CON-70 is too long for some pens.
2. Some pens designed for sale in Europe use standard international cartridges / converters.
3. Some vintage pens (or, for all I know, some special models) may not take the current design.
You can also, by all reports, use the converter for the Majohn A1 retractable fountain pen (which looks like a CON-50 without the rivet agitator).

Re: Pilot Converters
Perfect description, LizEF, but allow me to add a fourth point:
4. The CON-50 does not fit in most pocket pens (long-short, some call them).
This is the case of the Myu-701, for instance. Use the CON-20 or the CON-40 or refill cartridges with these pens.
Cheers,
BT
