    Default MID-40s SHEAFFER OS SET IN BOX NEAR MINT BLACK / TRANSPARENT PLUNGER FILL

    A lovely early WW II period premium pen and pencil Sheaffer set with "patriotic" box, excellent transparency. I can't be certain, but it might never have been inked - it shows no sign of plastic darkening. Nib is fine - xf. Pencil works, but of course the eraser is ossified. USD $900. I will pay insured shipping in US.

    I just recently inked it, and rinsed out same day. It writes quite well for a rigid fine tip.
