    Default Pilot 823's

Thought I would post a few photos of my Pilot 823 dynamic duo. IMHO, P-823's are some of the best all around utilitarian pens that money can buy. I'm hoping someday to find a demo one at a decent price so I have all three types. For now these two are my writing work horses.

The amber one sports a Minuskin 1.1mm retip. The smokey gray one has a .7mm crisp stub ground by Michael Masuyama.

Another reason I love these pens is Pilots unparalleled customer service here in the USA. My grey one had the plunger filler go bad last year. I sent it to Pilot and they put a new one in no questions asked at no cost to me except shipping to them.

If you want to read a great article about these pens check this one out:

    Anyway, here's the pics.
    Blessings,
    Dave

Very nice photos. These are definitely workhorse pens.

My 823 is the only pen in my collection that is literally always inked. In four years, I have never put it away.

That is quite frankly the best review of a pen in my estimation. When you never put it away.

It is my absolute favorite pen. Like the OP, mine is always inked in black because I use it a lot.

Also, like the OP, I would like a demonstrator or smoke version.
