Re: First Post and Montblanc Returns
Cool! Thank you for sharing.
If that feed was factory-installed and the pen was purchased new in 1970, the 149 dating chart that I have will have to be adjusted. Anyone have a newer version? Barry?

Re: First Post and Montblanc Returns
I have two Mont Blanc 149's both with split ebonite feeds......just like yours. I am sending one of them to a nib specialist to get it ground to a Fine/Extra Fine. They are both Medium nibs and I want the ability to write a "finer line". Presently both write very smoothly and I'm hoping the nib meister can work his magic when modifying the Medium nib...... and it writes just as smoothly as it does now!

Re: First Post and Montblanc Returns
Hello jlow28, Beautiful 149, great nib, and a wonderful family connection. The final feature is its most important. Hope you enjoy it for many years.
