Here's what recent bans on books in school libraries leads to:
Bible to be removed from Utah school bookshelves
It's only fair. The Bible contains references to several kinds of (even non-vaginal) sexual acts, rape, murder (including infanticide), and genocide. Some of it (see the Songs of Solomon) are also meant for arousal of desire)....
The dumbest part of this entire process in several of these states is that it takes only one parent objection to get a book reviewed for removal, and only takes one parent appeal to require the formation of another committee to have it reviewed again.
It's time for the "special status" of Christianity to end.
Also within the pages are to love your neighbor as you do yourself, do good to them that hate you, men love your wife, don’t exasperate your children, give more, live on less, don’t lend money for interest, don’t treat sex as a sport, don’t parade your self around when your seething in your heart, look for the best, have hope, experience peace and love. Yes, we can do without that nonsense.
Daily Wire made Matt Walsh's "What is a Woman" documentary free to watch on Twitter.
Yes, Matt Walsh and Daily Wire are conservative. Go ahead and shoot the messenger. Alternatively, you can listen to someone ask all sorts of people simple questions, and document their answers. Some of the answers (or lack thereof) are concerning.

"A truth does not mind being questioned. A lie does not like being challenged."
My concern, and there is validity we each can agree if we are honest, is that we do not like who we are and therefore have no confidence in our being. God played a joke on us and we look as we do, feel as we do, are at the wrong school, the wrong state, the wrong job, the wrong parents or the wrong body. There is nothing we can do to change who we are. We can move to another location, get another job, but no matter how much we try, we are who we are and no amount of surgery or drugs will ever make us whole. We are trying to fix an engine by changing the tires.
“He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8
Yes, but the better parts of other books don't keep them from being removed from school shelves. So it can't save the Bible from the same fate either. The Bible, taken literally, contains some of the worst atrocities ever done to human kind (and to animals). We can't want children to be exposed to these things. God forbid (in the saying of the religious). Besides, these new parental rights laws and book content laws forbid this kind of thing.
It's only fair.
I wish you were kidding
The Bible, The Koran, the Torah, the Upanishads, the Sutras etc should ALL be available to any child capable of reading them. Precocious kids should not be denied access by other people's parents through the law. Nor should they be denied access to any other book except for the graphically violent (the Bible is a close call on that one) or for the graphically sexual. To remove books for racial or gender consciousness reasons is groundless and evil.
All these laws about denying *through the laws* access (the option) for families--whether it is pronoun options, bathroom options, sports options, book options, AP options--are misguided reactionary attempts at control of a progressive development in society that is inevitable, and a cruel desire for retribution.
Tennessee drag ban unconstitutional (court ruling): overly broad and vague and too restrictive of speech:

Texas doing their part in interfering between families and the medical professionals to remove access to treatment.
But "family first," and all that.

"Put up, or shut up." Judge blocks Florida anti-affirmative care bill.
It will be interesting to see if TSherbs follows up like he didn’t on Judge Walker’s voting injunction, which was overturned.

Another case in the law (almost in the law):

"Atheist and biologist Richard Dawkins signed a declaration in favor of "sex-based rights," giving the movement an unexpected ally.
Dawkins urged his followers on Monday to sign the declaration, which includes a call to oppose providing gender reassignment surgery and puberty blockers to children and teenagers, "re-affirms women and girls' sex-based rights, and challenges the discrimination we experience from the replacement of the category of sex with that of 'gender identity,'" according to its website."

"t first blush, it would seem that an atheist movement would be exactly the sort of thing that would attract many women. After all, much of the oppression of women—from forced veiling to restricting abortion rights—is a direct result of religion. Unsurprisingly, then, feminism has a long tradition of outspoken atheists and religious skeptics within its ranks.Suffragist Elizabeth Cady Stanton preferred “rational ideas based on scientific facts” to “religious superstition.” Major feminist philosopher Simone de Beauvoir argued that belief in God exists in part to “repress any impulse toward revolt in the downtrodden female.” Modern feminist writer Katha Pollitt received the “Emperor Has No Clothes” award from the Freedom From Religion Foundation in 2001, where she said that religion is dangerous because “it connects with very terrible social energies that have lain in civilization for a very long time.”
But despite the natural and cozy fit of atheism and feminism, the much-ballyhooed “New Atheism” that was supposed to be a more aggressive, political form of atheism has instead been surprisingly male-dominated. The reason has, in recent years, become quite apparent: Many of the most prominent leaders of the New Atheism are quick to express deeply sexist ideas. Despite their supposed love of science and rationality, many of them are nearly as quick as their religious counterparts to abandon reason in order to justify regressive views about women."
