Montblanc Diplomat 90th anniversary in rose gold. Waiting 4-5 weeks for the medium nib to be switched out to broad. Got the last rose gold 149 in the boutique. At least that's what the sales rep said.

I am really looking forward to those photos, TL! Coincidentally, I have a pen in the works with Shawn too. I'm really excited about it; it's a special one.

Has to be one of the the most gorgeous urushi finishes I've ever seen. Ordered it in September and Ernest now says that it should be done by the end of this month. I'm so excited!

The other two pens that are due a couple months from now are a Japanese eyedropper Eboya Kyouka and a very special pen that's going to be made by Shawn Newton =]
So to add to those three pens, I'm now also waiting on a custom Scriptorium made with Tibaldi Impero celluloid. It's going to be a pretty epic few months of pen acquisitions. =]

Well, now in addition to the custom pen I ordered from Shawn and that I will pick up at the DC pen show in August, I bought a second one from him that he took to Miami and I was too lazy to drive down and buy. Thank heavens it wasn't sold. An olive green water acrylic with nibs at both ends. Going gold and it will be a fine broad! :-) So now I bought two pens for the show that is still 4 weeks away!

Mabie Todd Swan sm2/58 from Barry at Penamie (no affiliation etc).

There is a photo of Cryptos' pen in the 'what pen did you use today' thread.

I saw that photo elsewhere and fell in love immediately with the 2/58.

That double-nib pen is really cool! Same with the Tibaldi Impero celluloid and sterling he made for Miami. Congrats on the acquisitions! I have a pen from Shawn coming in late August that is going to have that giant handmade 14k nib he posted on Instagram and his new in-house piston mechanism. I can't wait.

Awhile ago I saw a Moore L-95 in dark blue plastic. I had to have it, so it's mine now. Doing fountain pen 'window shopping' I found another Moore, a Tuscan, L-94 in red hard rubber. The 95 was looking for it's older brother. The 95 is a great writing pen and is well behaved considering it's almost 90 years old. I should get the 94 tomorrow.

Rose Parker Duofold NS with Canadian nib from Cob (via EBay).

Went rather higher than expected but I've wanted one for a long time and I trust Cob's work so I was willing to take the pain.

Edit: Cob - your inbox is full (probably my fault). Anyway thankyou. I love English Duofolds and I've always wanted that colour.

Just ordered a Pilot Metropolitan to basically be a "carry in my briefcase without worrying too much if it gets lost/damaged" pen. It's replacing a Pilot Varsity, so it's still something of an upgrade, lol.

I'm planning on eventually getting a Pilot Custom 74 or Custom Heritage 91, but that may wait until closer to my birthday in September (I really, really, really have an aversion to spending more than $25 or so on anything). Their innards and nibs are basically the same, it's only the body styles that are different as far as I can determine. I'll choose which one I buy more or less based on which I can get a better deal on, but I'll probably get the other (or a different pen in a similar body style) later to complement it.
